The defect

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2020-2024 DC (Legend) vehicles. The hazard warning lights may not function independent of the ignition switch. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

The risk

Warning lights that do not illuminate when the ignition switch is in the OFF position can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Check whether your specific vehicle is affected
