The defect

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2021-2022 LFS Artic and 2021-2023 LFS buses. The alternator power cable nut may not have been tightened properly.

The risk

A loose nut can cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire.

The fix — what to do

Nova will inspect and tighten the power cable nut as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2024. Owners may contact Nova customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova's number for this recall is CR5570.
