The defect

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Xpeditor vehicles that run on natural gas. A software error in the instrument cluster may cause an inaccurate fuel gauge reading.

The risk

An inaccurate fuel gauge may result in the vehicle unexpectedly running out of fuel and stalling, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix — what to do

Dealers will update the instrument cluster software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 22, 2023. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACX-2301.
