The defect

Precision Industries, Inc. (Precision Industries) is recalling two 2021 Emergency vehicles built on Spartan Metrostar chassis. The electrical multiplex module had an additional resistor incorrectly installed on the printed circuit board, which can disrupt CAN network communication and cause vehicle lighting to fail.

The risk

Inoperative vehicle lighting can reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
