The defect

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022 Coachmen Apex travel trailers. The tail lights may have been incorrectly wired to an "ON/OFF" switch, which can cause the brake or tail lights to not illuminate when the switch is in the "off" position.

The risk

Brake or tail lights that fail to illuminate can reduce visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
