The defect

Tracker Marine, LLC (Tracker) is recalling certain 2022 Ranger Trail T22RT178, T22RT178B, T22RT188, T22RT188B, T22RT188P, T22RT188PB, T22RT198P, T22RT198PB, T22VS1665, T22VS1682, T22VS1782, and T22VS1782B trailers. The fenders may be improperly spaced, allowing the tires to contact the fenders.

Tire contact with the fenders could cause the tires to wear prematurely, resulting in tire failure and increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix — what to do

Dealers will inspect and correct the fender spacing as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 12, 2021. Owners may contact Tracker customer service at 1-417-873-4555. Tracker's number for this recall is RT-0001.
