The defect
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2022 Medium-Duty Trucks. The spring hanger brackets on the front suspension may have loose bolts.
The risk
Loose suspension bolts can detach, possibly resulting in a loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will tighten the spring hanger bracket bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 17, 2021. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0428.
