The defect

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2016 Octane Super Lite travel trailers manufactured November 2, 2015, to April 4, 2016. These trailers may have been built without a 30amp circuit breaker which, in the event of an electrical short, may result in a fire.

The fix — what to do

Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will install a 30 amp circuit breaker, free of charge. The recall began on May 6, 2016. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901295.
