The defect
Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Metro Link transit buses manufactured December 20, 2013, to April 9, 2015. The affected buses may have been built without shims and flat washers on the seat pedestal, allowing the seat to detach from the floor in the event of a crash.
The risk
If the seat detaches from the floor during a vehicle crash, the seat occupant would be at an increased risk of personal injury.
