The defect

PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR)is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 T660, and T680 vehicles manufactured from December 4, 2012, through September 17, 2013 and configured as a dead axle tandem with air disc brakes and spring brake delete options. The affected vehicles have the parking brake incorrectly placed on the non-driven rear axle.

The risk

If the parking brake is on the non-driven axle the vehicle could roll away when the parking brakes are set, resulting in an increased risk of a crash.
