What NHTSA is examining
To date, investigation activity has consisted of (1) a joint site visit by representatives of odi, paccar, redwood reliance trailer, and premier mfg conducted from may 5 - 8, 2008; (2) field strain gage work conducted by premier mfg; and (3) inspection of returned pins (pins removed from service and replaced through campaign action) conducted by paccar.odi is upgrading this investigation to ea08-019 to allow sufficient time to appropriately analyze and review the data collected.
