On 6/7/07 bendix filed a 573 defect information report stating certain parker single check valves might become excessively worn over time and break apart.if this valve breaks apart and becomes lodged inside the sr-7 spring brake modulating valve, a delay in the parking brake application is possible.this delay can lead to a vehicle rollaway.a rollaway event might cause damage to personal property and/or harm to other motorists/pedestrians. Rmd mailed information request letters to 10 vehicle oems on 6/11/2008.as this bendix recall was for replacement equipment pertaining to bendix 07e-037, many vehicle oems (without stating so) combined the two recalls into one vehicle recall.kovatch mobile equipment,nabi, select trucks refurbish center, gm, thomas built buses, and american truck company all filed 1 vehicle recall to include replacement equipment from bendix 07e-038.oshkosh truck corp and prevost car responded that they did not use these valves.spartan motors used these products in off-road vehicles only.island city engineering installed these on pt units used for fmvss testing only.ir responses can be found below or in the document repository.this eq is closed.
