On 6/7/07 bendix filed a 573 defect information report stating certain sr-7 spring brake modulating valves might intermittently fail.unauthorized changes to the manufacturing of these valves can cause the internal check valve rubber to become deformed.this can create a leak that may delay the application of the parking brake, in some cases leading to a vehicle rollaway.a rollaway event might cause damage to personal property and/or harm to other motorists/pedestrians. Rmd mailed information request letters to 6 vehicle oems on 5/22/08.in response to this letter, kovatch mobile equipment filed 08v-263, select trucks refurbish center is a subsidiary of daimler?s and covered under 07v-302, and sst truck company is a subsidiary of ic corp and covered under 07v-314.link-belt construction equipment and rosenbauer motors did not use these valves certified for highway use but will have their units repaired.protected vehicles inc.
