  • Timing belt teeth broke at the crank. This allowed pistons to keep running, but the cam stopped. As a result of this vehicle failed. Repairs were done in april 2002, with failure reoccuring in aug 2002. Mileage accumulation between the repairs was 7,500 miles. Please describe details. *ak

  • Vehicle was being repaired. Independent mechanic found recall notice 98v069002 regardinng transfer case failure. Also, camshaft failed. Independent mechanic replaced parts. Later problem with camshaft belt and transfer case reappeared, causing damage to vehicle. Mechanic contacted manufacturer …
