The power cables on the driver's side may have been routed incorrectly, allowing them to rub against the frame or make contact with the ground cable.

In the affected vehicles, the rear engine-run lockout safety switch may have been improperly wired, and as a result, it may be possible to start the engine while the vehicle is being worked on by a mechanic.
